There was a minor upset in Changwon where 6th rankedWonju DB (6-9) was edged by ninth ranked Sakers (5-9) 76-74 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was Egyptian center Assem Marei (206-1992, college: MSU) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points, 21 rebounds and 6 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Guard Junseok Yang (179-2001) chipped in 17 points. American guard Ethan Alvano (185-1996, college: CSUSM) produced 26 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and Nigerian-American center Chinanu Onuaku (207-1996, college: Louisville) added 12 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. LG Sakers moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Anyang. Defending champion Wonju DB keeps the sixth position with nine games lost.
